Who is behind Bour bon Creations?

Hilary Nina Beard is the managing director, at the age of 25 she is running her own company. There are not many 25 year olds in this current climate who have their own business. Most of her friends have just finished educaton or are working at entry level jobs.

So why is she so different? we asked her a few questions to find out.

She's originally from a small town outside Manchester, realising that there was no oppotunity where she lived she wanted to spread away from her family. Hilary went to the University of Hull where she learnt to become more independent from the small town mentality and realise that she did have potential.

"I use to have chicken yard beliefs, as soon as that changed, my life changed"

Like for most Uni graduates there wasn't really any job she could suddenly jump into. Every company wanted some sort of experience, as she had none the only option was to look for entry level positions. Most of the positions that she came across had no progression involved.

Hilary decided to work for herself. Instead of doing it alone she worked with like minded people that offered her a support network, they sold clients products to different businesses. This is where her business began. Building up her skills, first she learnt to sell, second she learnt to teach other people, lastly she learnt how to manage other people.

"I knew if I was prepared to do more than the average person, i would achieve more"

Hilary is excited to see what the next year will bring to her.
